Default Momo steering wheel

Fancy a change from the traditional fitted wheel, and like the look of the Momo.

Is anything needed fitment wise, and will the indicators still cancel.

No worries, mate. As long as you get the correct hub kit for your car, everything works just as they do now,....

The hub kit is the device that attaches the wheel to the steering shaft of the car and contains the horn button and turn signal canceller.

I just installed a Momo wheel in my '86 Carrera and it looks and works great. Momo makes hubs to adapt their wheels to most cars. The one that fit my car was the L 231. It was easy to install and used the stock turn signal activator, which attached to the Momo adaptor. The horn wire just plugs into the Momo button and you are done and back on the road in 30 minutes.

I need to replace my horn button, but it appears that my wheel has a larger diameter hole than a Momo wheel.
Could someone with a Momo wheel please check the diameter of the hole in the center of the wheel or the diameter of their horn button where it fits snug against the inner part of the wheel?
I'm almost certain that I need a Nardi/Personal horn button.

Default Momo Wheel pics

Here are some pics of the Momo wheel I just installed. There was no need for an additonal spacer for enough "wheel to dash clearance"...the Momo hub adaptor was fine. The Porsche crest horn button was an extra, but for me it's a nice touch. The diameter of the Momo horn button is 2".

Those steering wheels belong in the 911's. I've seen so many 911's and 2002's equipped with similar momo wheels over the years. It's in the category of a classic look in my opinion.

Momo wheel transforms these cars IMHO. The factory wheel is very large diameter to help reduce steering effort, but makes the car feel like a bus. Putting a smaller diameter wheel makes the steering more direct and responsive.... it does increase steering effort, but if you wear gloves, it really helps. Plus it is a good upper body workout each morning. Win/Win in my book.
