I used a standard sized "Graco-type" baby seat in the back of my 84 Carrera. At first, we mounted it face-backwards then we turned it around when the lad got bigger. Make sure to find one that has the shoulder straps, the rear of the car only has a lap belt. In any case, you will need to move the passenger seat all the way fw'd (hope mom is short). Once the kids are 35-40lbs+, that rear +2 seat is just the right size, no baby seat req'd.

Watch out on the hard braking, my 5 &8 year old's heads slam against the back of front seats (soft leather) inertia.... It is either that or get in the Jeep with Mom...
