I ws finding little bits of charcole in the airbox of my 78SC. i thought I had problems with a mouse, then I discovered it was comming fro mthe charcole canister. It is used to capture gas vapors from the tank, I believe. I just removed the whole thing and threw it in the trash. I have noticed no problems whatsoever.
