I am looking at this car to purchase and can't find info anywhere.

Supposed to be extremely rare

2.8ltr Carrera has MFI engine # is 6650329

Can anyone shed some light on this car?

Hi:

I could help you if I had the VIN and engine type numbers.

This tells me if you have a US or Euro Carrera and precisely what engine that 2.8 was built on. As you know, the 2.8 was not a production option, except for the '73 RSR cars.

The VIN is on the left A-pillar and seen through the windshield. The engine type number looks like this: 911/83 and is stamped on the engine case just to the left of where the right-side cam oil line meets the case. You'll need a flashlight and some good eyes to see it.
