can't those be had for a little more than 2000 brand new? wheel in lower left looks like it has a little bend in it in the picture, link didn't work either. This is you right?

Most wheels for Porsche talk to offsets in mm, not inch backspacing. You should know if they are, for example, 52mm offsets or whatever. If you don't know, and it's not documented anywhere, there are diagrams on the internet on how to measure offset.

Used Jerry's link as the original posted didn't work.

I wouldn't think that 2K is too much to ask for a starting bid? according to my Fikse brochure 7x17 are $820 and 9x17 are $920 (each) as best as I can tell from the sales sheet. However I would be concerned about the damage to the one wheel in lower left of the pic. I would think that those wheels would sell for right about 2K.

There's no damage to the wheel, your right the wheel does look bent in the picture. I think it's time to get the camera out again.

I just put a set of Fikse FM-10s in 18x9, 18x10's on my 86.5 928S. They cost me just under $4k with Kumho Ecsta tires (unmounted). Just after i bought the wheels they went up a couple hundred dollars per wheel. I think $2K is a decent price for these 17".

However if the wheels are undamaged, I still think anything around 2K is worth it

You should have "Porsche" in your TITLE, it is in the second line but won't pop up in a search for "Porsche Fikse".

I bought a set of 17" Fikses for my 930 9" fronts and 11" rears off of ebay for $2100 several months ago. When I benchmarked them againsdt new the new ones were pretty damn close to $1k each from Fikse.

I think the current ask is a good price... I only wonder how high the seller set the reserve. This all may be a moot point if it is $2500.

I purchase 8 and 9x17 FM10s for my 911 for $2,000 in '98, but that was at dealer cost I believe.

$2,000 is a fair selling price but you might want to reduce the initial price.

Too bad they aren't 8 and 9x17, wouldn't mind having another set...

Cheers,

Jeff
