Default Best 3.2 street exhaust?

I'm looking into new exhaust options for my 84. I've been reading quite a bit about Bursch and Dansk. Any dyno comparisons out there on these 2 systems?
B&B & Monty seem to be way higher in price, so pretty difficult to justify to my wallet.
Where is the best place that others have found as far as price, etc. for either the Bursch or Dansk systems?

Hi Dan:

I would not use a B&B due to cracking problems and cabin resonance.

For me, the Monty is THE one and IMHO its head & shoulders above the others for quality and sound.

Having seen the internals of the Dansk, B&B, & Monty mufflers, you do get what you pay for.

Default I have been driving with a Monty Exhaust for over a year. It sounds great!

I have been driving with a Monty Exhaust for over a year. It works well and sounds great! I recommend it highly, you will love it.

I purchased mine from Steve at Rennsport Systems last year and have put lots of enjoyable miles on it. Steve is very helpful and knowledgeable. I trust his information. He sees 911's everyday at his shop.

I am about to remove the CAT and get a pre-muffler or test pipe next.

I second Steve's remarks. I was very impressed with the single in/single out Monty muffler. The sound is great with no resonance. The build quality is second to none. And finally, it looks exactly like the stock muffler with the exception of having a little bigger outlet. Personally I am not a fan of the Dansk outlets. I haven't been able to figure out why they designed them so they curve straight back. Just my 2 cents.

I'm a big GHL fan. I have one in each of my Carreras. Great build quality. No interior resonance. Nice roarty sound.

The Monty has also proven itself on the dyno. At least some other muffler actually _reduce_ power output.

Another option is the one made by Ben/mb911 on Pelican bbs. He raised his prices recently but it is still about 1/2 of a Monty. I don't think he has any dyno data on his yet. He does have lots of positive feedback on the Pelican BBS. You could buy one and do an engine drop and a real engine dyno run before and after for that price.

Or just get the Monty.

Randy,
I don't think Ben/mb911 makes mufflers for 3.2s yet, unless he has just announced a new muffler for 3.2s.

Ben/mb911 came out with the single in single out for the 3.2 engine this week. He mentions it at pelican.

I am unable to locate his website, can someone help me out?
I read the thread @ Pelican and it appears to be worth investigating more closely.

I'm looking at Ben's too, but I want to hear one first, which fortunately I will get to do next week in Boston. From the feedback about his other systems I get the impression they're rather loud, maybe too loud for some people. But then there's good loud and bad loud, so I just gotta hear it first. I'll post here after I drive Shaun's car. I hope I like it because they're less than 1/2 the price of a Monty.

I was actually looking for a link to his website, not the thread on Pelican. Although I have taken the opportunity to register and participate there as well.
I'll update those here once I have made my decision and why to hopefully obtain confirmation of my choice rather than scrutiny.
