Looking for Kelly Green '73 911E I sold...
Hi there!
>
>I used to own a Kelly green '73E that I sold to James Spader, the movie
>actor, in May of '97. I moved from Colorado to California in 2001 and ran
>into Mr. Spader one afternoon at the Virgin Megastore on Sunset. I asked him
>if he still had the car and was told it was sold to a fellow in San
>Francisco... I'm trying to track down the cars current owner just to "check
>up" on it. I'm hoping that it was sold to someone who cared for the car as I
>did. I sure miss it and think about it often. It was a beauty!
>
>I've started my search on the Early 911S Registry's message board. I think I
>may have run into a guy that saw and drove the car in 2000. He doesn't
>remember the guy's name who bought it from Spader but he remembers the car
>and it sounds like it was the right car. It had black mud guards mounted to
>the rear fender wells... the car came to me with them...and I never removed
>them.
>
>Anyway, I don't have the serial number of the car, at least not where I
>might be able to look for it. Most of my things are still in storage in
>Colorado.
>
>I was hoping that I could describe the car to you guys and if you might know who
>owns it, you could forward my email address to them. ?
>
>It was , as I said , a Kelly Green '73E coupe, no roof, perfect 7's all
>around, original paint, tan leatherette interior, sport seats, factory air,
>euro lights and lenses and those rear mud guards. It also had a small
>scratch in the paint on the passenger side roof. If you know of a car with
>that description it may be the one I'm looking for. I would sure appreciate
>a response if you might be able to help.
>
>Thanks so much,
