Today I saw a REAL 1973 911RS at the shop !!!!
Hi everybody,
Today I went to leave my 911sc to do a valve adjutment and they have a beaultifull 1973 RS there at this shop. The owner broght the car from Italy and is exactly as shown in the books. I thought the 911rs came with carburators but this one has mechanical fuel injection. Tomorrow when I get there I'm gona take some pics and post it here. The car is white with blue.

Roland,
If this beauty had been roadworthy (tire balance, shocks, suspension bushings ??) I might have bought it - '71 911T, 5-speed, triple-choke Zeniths (last US Porsche with carburetors). It would have been a good project car, still might be for someone else. I was so distracted by bouncing tires that I inadvertently redlined it in second gear! Those carburetors were glorious, even if not Webers. The body was perfect, although freshly painted.
