Default starter issues

Having a problem with my starter but only once the car is warmed up and driven for a while. Once it cools down it is fine. I am just double checking before I change the starter that no one has a simplier solution. I have seen issues on other cars where the starter doesnt work once its heated up and just assumed that its the same issue here, thanks.

Starters with hot-start issues are fairly common, so it's a good possibility that replacing the starter will fix the problem. On the ones I've seen, it's the solenoid that sticks when hot & won't close the contacts to spin the starter motor. A rap or two on the solenoid witha small hammer will sometimes get you going temporarily.
