Hi Guys,
My friend's 3.2 is having a bit of a problem as occassionally it will only run on three or four cylinders. After a while it sorts itself out. Could it be a dirty/damaged distributor rotor or is all that stuff electronic?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
David

Almost certainly humidity in the distributor. Happens to me this time of year - condensation gets in and arcs across. When it warms up it will clear up.
You can use a sealing spray around the ditributor and that will help somewhat.

David
Spray the inside of the distributor with WD-40
Im sure the problem will correct itself and it will confirm that you have hairline cracks in the cap. Replace and enjoy.
