Kennedy - If your head studs are original start putting some $ aside for when the lower (dilavar) ones break. Recently replaced mine on my 81 SC with 62,000 miles. Did the top end and trans work you are talking about at the same time just to have everything updated. My point is if they are original they can (and will) break at any time, even (and maybe more so) with low miles. If you are lucky and they don't you can use the set aside money for upgrades
