7X15 wheels on the front?
Does anyone know if 7x15 wheels with 215 R60 BFG radials will fit on the front of my 75 911S without rubbing. I have that tire on the front now but I don't know what size wheel it is since they were on the car when I bought it.

Ride heights depend on many factors: wheel widths, tire diameters, camber settings, and whether the front fender lips have been rolled.
I need to know precisely what wheels you have, the exact size of those tires, and whether your fender lips are rolled or not to offer a recommendation.

Steve,
The wheels are stock 7 X 15 cookie cutters and the tires are 215 R60 15
BFG TA radials. The car is a stock 75 911S with standard (not rolled) fenders.
Its a street car only so I don't need to worry too much about high speed handling (although I do sneak in a 90 mph run every once in a while). I'd just like a starting point ride height because I'm also in the process of installing poly-bronze bushings on the control arms and changing over to turbo tie-rods and have the whole thing loose now.
Thanks.

Given those 60-series tall front tires and the need to maintain a 1 degree nose-down rake in these cars, I'd set the front at 26" and the rear at 25.5". That will get you close.
I would strongly suggest that you roll those front fender lips due to those big tires and the use of 7" wheels. Its only a matter of time before the tires will grab the fender lips going in and out of a driveway and bend it.

Thanks again Steve. Are those measurements at the front edge of the fenders where they meet the bumper spacers? (I promise that's the last question on this topic.)

Those specs are higher due to the large diameter tires, the 7x16 wheels, and lack of rolled fenders. Even then, he might need additional negative camber.
There are a LOT of different factors at work here.

I run 225/50/15 and 225/60/15 on 7x15 FUCHS and 8x15 Cookie Cutter wheels with no problem. Since the front is east to lower and raise I can adjust if i really need to. My car is lowered and dont have a problem, but with it lowered and a custom front spoiler i have watch going out of the driveway.

I believe Cookie Cutters came in 15X6 and 15X7. The standard tire that came for the rear of my 911 with Cookies was the 215/60. My 15X7 Fuchs fit on the front of my SC with 225/50 15s mounted.

Better measure...
I better go home and measure and see....I thought they were 15x8.
I will check..BUT what ever they are they still fit really nice...
the wheels came from a 944.
