Air Freshener is a PAINT STRIPPER
The "Ambi Pure" Car Air Freshener
IS A PAINT STRIPPER!!!!!
Bugger.
This product has leached out of the bottle and over the black painted metal perimeter lip surrounding the interior glove box and STRIPPED IT bare! <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" />
I've since read the fine print, and it actually states that, besides being a poison and should not come in contact with the skin, mouth or eyes - seek immediate medical attention ( hear that kids!), it will also damage some surfaces if spilt!
Fairdinkum! This is a vehicle "interior" accessory that it will share with the kids and some not so robust surface finishes, yet it's bloody dangerous.
I'm taking it up with AutoBarn and the manufacturer...... stay tuned.

In the space of less than 24 hours,
Two emails from the distributors,
one from the manufacturer,
I've had AutoBarn inspect the damage,
And rep from the Lab come out to validate the damage and take away the culprit for analysing with "yup, we're onto it mate" <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />
