I will be...PPI on Friday at Go Group in Grand Rapids, MI at 1pm...if all goes well I'll fly in and buy her...the next item on my list will be to become a RENNLIST MEMBER...without this and pelican's site I'd be lost...

Well I am sending the deposit tomorrow, PPI checked out fine...I am looking to fly into Grand Rapids, MI on the 22nd and then doing the 970 mile trip...here's a picture...I'll update you on the trip and on Monday I'll be a Rennlist Member! Thanks for all the help guys, you were great!

Shoot, I don't think I slept for 3 weeks after I got mine.
I just happened to stumble into mine online, checking an obscure (to Seattle) newspaper online classifieds, just for the hell of it. Not even awake or showered, just threw on sweats and a cap and drove 3 hours to Portland, literally 15 minutes after waking up. paid my deposit on the spot and arranged for a PPI the next day. 24 hours later and 18 hours driving to and from I finally have it, after a year or so of searching.
Even more ironically, the guy who owned it was my age, my ethnic background (Fillipino), even had the same job with same company I used to work for years ago in Oregon. The guy looks like my cousin Nolan in HI. How's that for karma?
Anyhow, you'll see this is just the beginning. Congrats.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all who helped me out in my quest for buying this 911SC (which I did)...as many of you have stated before, this site is PRICELESS (should be in a VISA commerical)...anyway, to show my appreciation I became a member (best $17.95 a Porsche owner can spend)...I am flying into Grand Rapids, MI this Saturday at 1pm and will be driving her home to Roseau, MN from there...I'll update you all on the trip once I get back...

These are my favorite topics, they allow all of us to share the thrill of getting a 911 and they remind me of what kind of people 911 pilots/Remnnlisters are.
