Post Clutch Helper Spring

Hello All!

I'm getting ready to replace clutch cable and helper spring on my '88 911 turbo. Have read technical article on Pelican, but have a question. What about the spacers/washers/seals located on the helper spring shaft and inside(?) the clutch release lever arm? Should I be looking to replace all these parts while I'm in there? Just trying to get everything together prior to beginning project so I won't be waiting on parts.

Advise fron anyone with experience with this job would be appreciated.

Brad,
It wouldn't hurt to get a couple of new seals. They are cheap. Have fun changing that spring...

Chris,

Thanks for the advise. Hey, the way you said that about the spring sounds ominous! I'm going to do it anyway.

Oh, I'm originally (well I was born there) from Burlington, Vt. Fairly close to you.

Thanks again!

Brad
