I subscribe to Excellence only. I also get PCA Panarama and an occasional copy of Christophorus (beautiful product). What is anyone's opinion of Road and Track or others for Porsche owners?

Hi there,
I subscribe to Excellence, 911 & Porsche world, PCA's Panorama, the local PCA chapter, and Autoweek.
I like 911 & Porsche world the most because of the writing. It's very much geared toward end users with lots of articles from the running reports and DIY.
I also like Autoweek for its short and to the point articles of new models and latest news including Porsche news and some motorsports.

I get Excellence and just subscribed to Christophorus after seeing mag for the first time at Wheel Enhancement. I used to get the PCA rag, but didn't think the $40 yr was worth it. 911 & Porsche World is supposed to be very good. But my understanding of the mag is its a European mag and here in the US, the adverts would be of little use. AS for the other auto mags, auto trend, auto week, etc, they are not porsche specific but provide some good general info on cars in general. My father in law gets it and I'll glance through it, but don't think its worth a subscription.

Excellence, Autoweek, Road & Track. I also like some of the Brit mags, Motorsport, and Classic & Sports Car, but those are not so much Porsche enthiast, just sports car enthusiast. Also Grassroots Motorsports looks like a pretty good mag.

Excellence and Porsche 911 are both very good.
While ads for British mags do not apply generally to us, they are still very worthwhile.
I recently spotted a new magazine - GT Purely Porsche. So far 2 issues that I am aware of , very good also.

Bins,
Excellence is the de facto porsche bible here in the US. Ross Periodicals, 42 Digital Drive #5, Novato, CA 94949 (415) 382-0580. Cost is $36/year for international.
Tech tips, articles, and buyers guide info are great. For we Yanks, the ads are also useful.
