Question Good Enclosed Shipping Company?

Hey-

I may have to ship a car from Miami to New Jersey--has anyone dealt with Autobahn Shipping? They quoted me $990 (ouch) for an enclosed truck--only 2-3 day turn-around.

Anyone else deal with a good, reasonable shipper??

Thanks.

Andy

Cool

Try Intercity (sp) I shipped my 91 cab from Glendale Ca. to Cape Cod for $1200 enclosed. They were very professional.

I have used Passport Transport several times. All with perfect results. It seems the ICC (interstate commerce commission), largely controls the rates. You will probably find the rates don't vary that much for a closed transport. From my experience it seems the timing of your shipment carries more weight. i.e., if they can schedule a return load to Florida. You can probaly save a few bucks if you are not in a rush and let the carrier schedule the load. Good Luck
