HELP!!
In process of installing 2-pc bra on an '83 911 SC,could not get hood to close completely. Installed 3 washers behind @ post on hood release (to extend closer)still didn't completely close. Removed plastic overlay (to increse accessability) still didn't close. Removed washers, tightened & left center bra in place, hood closed. What do I need to do, to install lower pc bra & still get hood to close??

You need to adjust the hood catch higher up. Held in place with 2 allen head screws.

There are plastic covers over the allen head bolts. Pop them off loosen bolts just a little and then tap or gently pry the lock up slighly. Tighten botls, check fit, then repeat process about 20 times until you get it set right! When you take to bra off the hood will then be a little loose, but you can find a spot where it is tight with the bra and just slightly loose without.
