Default Where to go for PPI in Torrance, CA

HI everyone. Trying to help out my cousin who will soon be the happy owner (hopefully) of an '86 Cab with 56,000 miles. He will be a first time owner. Can anyone give me some names of reliable mechanics in the Torrance region? Thank you very much!!!

Dutch Treat Porsche on Inglewood Ave. in Lawndale (just north of the 405, across from the in-n-out)
Rob Wessels is the owner. Excellent mechanic, very honest, and a genuinely nice guy. 310-644-1006
I've known Rob for over 6 years.
I believe he is on vacation with the family this week, but his knowledge and experience are worth waiting for if you can.
Expect a PPI to run $300-$400 depending on how detailed you want it to be. Money well spent in the 911 market as far as I am concerned.
God luck with the car.

Callas Rennsport on Hawthorne and 190th, Tony Callas has been a friend of mine for a while and is an expert in Pcars

Callas Rennsport at 190th and Hawthorne, is very thorough...not cheap though, but very thorough and will tell you exactly what your car needs. This is very valuable.

While you are there, take your car next door to Johnson's Alignment to get it aligned and suspension checked out. Steve A. is very good and has been excellent and honest with me in the work that he had done on my 86 Cab.
