I recently purchased a '73T with a Sportomatic -- a transmission with which I have no service experience.
All systems in the car work as intended but, because the service history is not documented and in order to fix the typical engine oil leaks, I dropped the motor and transmission in order to gain access to as many servicable components as possible.
Given that the time has already been spent to remove the Sportomatic from the car what preventative service operations should be performed?
