Yeah, a whale tail (Carrera or Turbo) will look absolutely horrible on your very narrow-bodied 912.
You'll ruin the look of the car. A Carrera tail would look just horrible. A Turbo tail would be a cruel joke.

What is the correct hardware for mounting a Carrera tail?
I know that mine is incorrect because the screws are very non-original.
Factory tail and lip, 84 Carrera. There does not appear to be any nuts or threaded inserts in the fiberglass except for the 3 along the top edge, near the glass.
