No. It is ok to run with the front item alone, but not the rear item alone.

This issue (front valance/rear tail) is addressed in the 911SC Technical Forum under FAQ's, "Upgrades". Use the "Go to" drop down box at the top of this page to go to the Technical Forum.

whatever you do, DONT put a turbo tail on a narrow body car...

Not much uglier or out of place than that.

Yeah, a whale tail (Carrera or Turbo) will look absolutely horrible on your very narrow-bodied 912.

You'll ruin the look of the car. A Carrera tail would look just horrible. A Turbo tail would be a cruel joke.

What is the correct hardware for mounting a Carrera tail?
I know that mine is incorrect because the screws are very non-original.
Factory tail and lip, 84 Carrera. There does not appear to be any nuts or threaded inserts in the fiberglass except for the 3 along the top edge, near the glass.
