Default Refinishing Fuchs

Dear Listers,

I'd like to look into refinishing my Fuchs, preferrably in the Nashville Area. What does this run? Any help would be appreciated.

If you don't find anyone locally, I recommend the following. Give Havey a call. You can find his ad in the Excellence magazine. I had him refinsh my fuchs and they turned out great. There is also Wheel Enhancement in Southern Cal, but Harvey's prices were better. Good luck

Al Reed is great, and one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. His prices are fantastic, and the work absolutely first rate.

Let me add to the recoomendation for Al Reed. No affiliation. You just won't get better work and certainly not for the price or as nice a guy.

So, Dan, you think he is cheaper than Harvey Wiedmann?

Al Reed is cheaper than Harvey Wiedman, and many people will be happy with Al's work. But if you want the best, call Harvey.

I can't comment on Harvey Weidmann, I've not knowingly seen his work.

But I have seen lots of polishing work done by Al and of course, I own some too which is why I feel very comfortable recommending him. His work is excellent. Al will give yhou loaner wheels while he does your polishing work if you are local. He couldn't be a nicer guy to deal with.

If you want a highly polished Fuchs wheel use Al Reed, but if you want the best looking correct anodized finish Harvey is the man. His work is the best. I just sent him the wheels from the RS and I recently had a set of deep six and 7R Fuchs done by him. Here are photos of the 7R wheels.
