Default 89 3.2 new Bilsteins

My 89 3.2, 65K miles, just got (DIY) all Bilstein Sport struct inserts and shocks. The car is much much better in handling. I did order bunch of rubbers ($120.00) but there's no need to put them in at this moment because there's no noise and alignment can be skipped for now. Here some data about the height
Prior to strut/shock
FL 26
FR 26
RL 25.5
RR 25.5

One day an 50 miles after strut/shock
FL 27.25
FR 26.75
RL 26
RR 26.5

One week and 400 miles after strut/shock
FL 26.5
FR 26.5
RL 26
RR 26

I have no plan to lower

Well, I did not tally the total time, I spent 15-30 min per day while watching Red Sox. Here what I did
Sun 10/17 - washed the car
Mon 10/18 - ordered parts from Pelican
Tue 10/19 - loose up all nuts (wheels, top nuts of front struts) put the car on jack stands
Wed 10/20 - took off wheels & more under carriage cleaning

Sat 10/23 - unbolted top nuts & took out front strut inserts
Sun 10/24 - unbolted top nut and bottom nut of RL shock
Mon 10/25 - unbolted top nut and bottom nut of RR shock
Wed 10/27 - parts arrived
Thu 10/28 - installed front struts
Fri 10/29 - installed RR shock
Sat 10/30 - installed RL shock, wheels etc.. then did short test. Wow, no noise so no further rubbers

I have just done the same but using HD's. Ride is hugely improved over the original Boge's.
Car corners flatter, doesn't crash and bang over bumps. Power gets down better, car feels well planted.

The sport shocks would have been to hard for me though; HD's just right for roads here in NZ.

I had a full 4 wheel align done with added camber dialed in. Car now has minimal understeer (though haven't had it on the track yet....). I'm now monitoring inner tire wear.........

BTW I forgot to metion in my last reply; I also had the car lowered as it sat high with the new shocks.
Now 25" on all corners. I run 17" Cup 1's.
