I've owned my '87 carrera for over 8 years and it's been by far the best car I've ever owned. Drive it daily and it has 165K miles on it. Without going into lots of detail, I needed to replace the speed sensor and ref sensor. Got the ref sensor out but the sepped sensor if friggin kicking my tail. I have tried for the last two days to: either remove the bracket holding the sensors or remove by rotating and pulling on the speed sensor. i was able to remove the top bolt off the bracket but the bottom bolt is in a tight spot and I haven't been able to get it out. Also, the speed sensor rotates freely but will not come out. Any hints before I give up the ghost and send it to a shop?
