Rotating Tach
I want to rotate my tach so that the redline is in the twelve o'clock position instead of the five o'clock position as shown in the pic below. Can anyone tell me how to do this or point me in the direction of a resource which will? Thanks.
The gauges come out from the front. There is a rubber ring that holds them in place and you can just work the gauge out towards you, rotate it, and then push it back in. It is held in place with the rubber ring. The rubber ring is the only thing that I had difficulty with getting it so that it was even amounts around the gauge.
Took less than 10 min.

Any of the gauges comes out without much difficulty. You can use a large flat screwdriver to prise under the black trim ring and the whole gauge pops right out. you will want to use something like a paint stick to protect the dash or other gauge. You can work from one side then the other and it walks right out. to get the gauge back in, I used some liquid soap on the rubber gasket to help the gauge slide in. I also sent my tach out to have them rotate the scale since I didn't like having it rotated in the dash. I also had them move the redline and remove the boost gauge and I installed a small LED that turns on at my programmed shift point.

Yikes! I found it easier to open the front hood and put your hand on the back of the tach, from the right side above the master cylinder, and push it forward to get it out, or at least to get it started.

Both Palo Alto Speedometer and North Hollywood Speedometer do custom work on Porsche Gauges including fixing broken ones, rotating tachs, changing the scale on the speedometer or tachometer and custom coloring. While the stick on white gauge faces look nice, they were just not "Factory" enough for me and I wanted the custom work done on tach, and oh yea, I could not figure out how to get the black bezel off the gauge without damaging it. Mine were crimped on there pretty good.

I agree about the crimping, I really nicked my fuel gauge one up when I pulled it out to fix the glass. I still have it out as the glass is backordered. What was your cost for the "Factory look" conversion to white faces? How long was the turn around on them? I live in Florida so I would have to ship them.
Thanks
