Default strut bar help

I am thinking about adding a "JM Products Strut Tower Brace" to my 84 911. Is this the right choice. I am confused about the difference between a "tower" brace and a regular "strut" brace?

I think from my simple knowledge is that the "tower" hold the towers and struts in place whereas the "strut" brace does not do anything for the towers?

Thanks for advice.

They are esentially the same thing honestly, even the simple bar that bolts between the two strut towers will make all the difference you need. a triangulated one doesnt pay off for loss of trunk space. so just pick a light one that you like.
