I'm in Toronto (Avenue and Lawrence) and I do almost everything on my car myself. There is some get together every Saturday morning (as mentioned above) and plenty of local PCA guys who like to turn their own wrenches. I'm going to try to make it out this Saturday (October 28).

Does anyone know any good Porsche savvy machine shops in or around the GTA. I'm in the middle of a rebuild and nothing would make me happier then not having to send so many parts to are friends in the USA. I'm sure the shipping is going to be and arm and a leg because of the weight involved.

Any solid referrals would be appreciated.

Although a lot of the guys hang out here. You may have better luck posting in the Rennlist Canada forum under regions. a lot more of the loacl guys hang out there and some do racing and have prefered shops.
Fortunately I have not needed a machine shop yet --- phew--
