Sorry, I'm the guilty hijacker... I thought L8 was looking at that $1,500 one.... but gecatec... everything here is relevant. A $1,500 911 that runs and drives is a no-brainer... you cannot get hurt unless you drive over yourself in it.... that said, you can put twice what it is worth into restoration, so if you do buy it, be sure you can live with it in its current condition.... or with a few carefully selected fixes... I would not plan on putting more than $5-6K in it unless it is an S

well thanks guys, im going to go check out the car this weekend, well my freind told me that it needs a new distribiter and an oil change, he is preety positive there is no rust, but as for a daily driver goes, that was not my whole intent i already have a 86' 951 so my porsche needs are satisfide at the moment, so i am planning on working on and restoring it, thans agian

Post some pics when you get it! BTW I think distributors are kind of expensive for these. Have you priced them? I want to say around $400 but not positive...
