Post CT Mechanic

Hi all,

I recently moved to Connecticut and need to find a mechanic for my '88 Carrera should the need arise. Who would you recommend in the Glastonbury area? Thanks in advance for your help.

Glenn

In Oxford:

http://www.hairydoggrrrage.com/

They do real simple stuff all the way to engine rebuilds and full race prep. I have worked with them for years and so have many, many other Porsche club members. He has some really nice cars in his shop.

There are certainly other shops in CT that "might" be as good but I don't think any are as close to you.

I'd echo chrisp's remarks on Dan Jacobs shop in Oxford (203-262-0569). Automobile Associates of Canton (860-693-0278) and Chris Musante's shop, Musante Motorsports, in South Windsor (860-291-9415) are two other Porsche independant shops.

PS. Forgot to add the PCA Connecticut Valley Region website is www.cvrpca.org, if you're a PCA member or interested in becoming one.

Hi Glenn,

All good info above. Given your location, you may want to contact Musante in S. Windsor.
