Question sighting in daytona

hey there,

tonight my buddy and i are cruising in my gemini grey 84, and we see 3 porsches in the span of about 15 seconds... one was a brown 928, another a black 911 SC, and a yellow 911 with polished fuchs, the SC was on International Speedway Boulevard, and the yellow one was on the right, going to turn left (east) on ISB. we were wondering if the owner of either of those cars is on here, and maybe we could get some sort of daytona get together on or something.

take care
- Mike

Mike,
Sorry, I'm not the owner of those cars, I have an 82911SC, and am from Orlando(recently moved). I am looking for a mechanic in the area to do some exhaust work and general maintenence for me. Do you have any suggestions in my area?
Thank you.

There are several good Porsche shops in the Orlando area,I personaly use Zotz garage at 1781 Semoran Blvd.,the owners name is Ron Zitza and he is a great guy,the phone number of the shop is 407-678-6789.Another shop in the area is Troysport, they are on 3838 Commerce Road-# 407-297-7733,I have not used them but talked to the owner Sid Collins at the local Porsche club meeting and he seemed like a good guy.Another is Redbone,I don't know the phone number.Good luck.

I grew up in orlando in the neighborhood directly behind zotz garage. at the time my mom and dad had an audi 100 LS. I can't remember the number of times I walked home thru the woods behind zotz to our house after the audi would stop running...
i was only a kid, but i remember he always had the best cars in there!

i know my parents thought he was a great mechanic back then (late 70's), I didn't even realize he was still around.

I believe back in the 70s it was run by his dad,now it is run by Ron which is one of the sons, great guy to deal with and is very knowledgable when it comes to Porsches.A good working relationship with a mechanic is priceless, and I feel I have that with Zotz garage.
