lets start with all the hydrualics master and slave cyl. lines, resivor, that will be expensive, but what about custom axles? mounts? shift linkage? this could be very pricey but if you have the bank roll, anything is possible, I would just build a killer 915 with a quaiffe and a short stack and call it a day and take a vacation with the $ you save

Hi Mark:

Its a huge & expensive project. Budget $ 10K or more.

As indicated above, I'd kindly suggest that you build a solid 915 with all the upgrades, close-ratio gears, a GT LSD, and a WEVO shifter. Its a VERY good setup.

hey steve, can I get close ratio 2-5 for my 915 from you? I talked with you a month or so ago about it. my budget for the car is blown on the motor ( I decided to go nuts on the motor in hopes that i wont have to take it apart for another 20 years!) so the trans waits untill probably spring to get done,

Hiya Mike:

Heck yes,....

Let me know what rear tire diameters you'll have, where peak torque and HP will be, and your R&P.

Also, give me an idea about what kind of top speed you'd like and we'll do the rest.

Sounds like the motor will be a dandy,......

everythin has been done by Neil at Performance Developments, everything. full blueprint/race balance, new "special" valve springs/ hardware and guides, "special" hardware for the rods and barrel studs, 964 cams, I took your advice and his and left the ports in the head alone but will clean the rough ridges in the intake plenum up. I'm also doing a MAF kit to lose that restrictive air meter box. stock heater boxes with a cat bypass. I'm itching to get it back together.

the tranny i figure with a top speed around 150(?) with a short stack, (I actually have a gearing chart at the shop somewhere) by the short time it will take to get to that speed, the (insert ego car here) will be so far behind he'll give up.

150 sounds about right and with the 964 cams, it should be around 6600 RPM. Let me know your rear tire diameters,....
