Targa Questions???
I have an '86 911 Targa and am seeking advice:
1. What is best conditioner for targa top?
2. The quarter panel belt trim was reinstalled after a repaint and doesn't line up with door trim. Seems that the targa bar will require loosening to allow the small trim to slide. Looks like the interior trim must be removed for access to some of the top screws - how is that done?? (I am aware of the underside mounting points in the wheelwell) Any suggestions would be appreciated.

1.) I use a special Treatment made by Scholl in germany. Best is you look into the owners manuall section. Porsche also sales care products.
Armor All is better then nothing if not one from the best products.
2.) You are speaking about the outher trim going along the sides under the window around the corner to the engine lind ?
To remove them you have to remove the window.
Now the front off those trim pieces have two small nuts siting on a pin and you can loose them from underside and aligne them but be carefully if the studs brake the trim piec will stand up and you have to renew a 200$ (? old price) trimpiece with some 8 hours labour.
