Default Flag Mirror: Mid to late 80's "Motor/Frame" - newly avail from Porsche

Flag mirror gurus ! Needing to replace my passenger flag mirror "frame" -- this part pictured below.

About 2 years ago, I broke one of the bits on the frame disassembling the mirror. At the time, the part was NLA from from Porsche, 944-731-027-01. However, I see now that the # supercedes to 944-731-027-02 -- and is avail - $300-400 ish depending on source. Guessing they've re-issued. Great news. (Thank you Porsche Classic)

Then I find an Ebay listing today for one of the NOS original -01 parts at 2x the price -- and it says "this is the original German one, better quality than the new Czech ones that aren't any good - so buy this one instead". <----- Hmmm.. Is this true? For a low miles all original car. Trying to determine if it is in fact worth it to get the original one... or the new one from Porsche. And do the plastic textures match on the new ones, etc etc. I'll buy the more expensive one if it's worth it.

Anyone with a real world experience buying the new -02 part have feedback?
