Default How to Remove door panels G Body 911 1986 model

Looking for a thread on how to remove the door panels on a 1986 model G body..............video would be even better.......thnx!!

The G body door panel is extremely easy to remove. A few screws and your home free.

Actually yes lol.

was one of the easiest engines i have ever removed.

Any advice on just replacing the inside black plastic handles, i.e., does the whole door card need to be removed or something less? Thx Socks 911

The whole door card doesn't but the big grab handle assembly does (which is super simple to take off, you don't need instructions to figure it out I imagine).

Then you just need to pull the pin and replace. This video kinda sucks but shows it:

from memory

Remove the topper along the top of the door card
Pull open the pull handle and push to pop out the lever in behind Cant remember if it is up or down.

now you have access to all the hex screws holding the handle on.
You may have to remove the door pocket and flip handle bit that is very straightforward.

that " washer" is called a jesus clip .. once you push it off you will know why lol..
