Oil tube is a big culprit.

As you can see I've got fair share of oil issues. That being said the car has 220k on the clock and only goes through less than a quart of oil every 1500 miles. Where would you start...

i wouldn't .. lol .. just drive it and dont sweat it ...

a lot of people are going to tell yo clean it off and see where it leaks,, now because you have cleaned off all the dirt and grime it will leak and drip on your garage floor as there is nothing to absorb the oil .... but i will tell you the three most common areas and a fourth that could be more torouble.

1. triangle of death that is the breather cover oil pressure switch and oil pressure regulator.
2. Rocker shafts that are leaking and going down the back side of the engine.
3. Oil cooler if it is leaking close to the transmision
4.. base gaskets, often caused by loose or broken lower case studs.

could also be the oil return tubes but that pic doesnt look like it .

Of course it can leak of a myriad of other places, but this is a good start.

I had a drip drip on the front of the right side heat exchanger after an oil change a couple of weeks ago but it stopped. Tightened a cam cover nut and S tube clamp. Ran it 20 minutes in the garage yesterday. Nothing made it to the floor.

for me if its not dripping on the floor ... meh ... just drive the thing, but i get everyone is different.
