Not sure if this were to post this as this site is confusing AF lol. But I just bought a 2023 Carrera T for my daily. I’ve tried to watch videos about them as I don’t know anything about Porsche because I’ve never liked them aesthetically….. but I really like this one. However, based on what I’ve seen online, it seems to be VERY different than what everyone else has which leads me to believe it’s a ‘wrong’ spec. I mean, I don’t care really since it’s pleasing aesthetically to me over the others… mine has PDK which is contrary to every single video I watch raving that the whole greatness of the T is the availability of a manual but I didn’t want manual for my daily and I heard the PDK is fantastic. So that’s one difference. Also, it has the glass roof and sunroof (which I love), it has the rear seats added back in and it has the aerokit- ALL of which add weight back to it which is contrary to another ‘selling point’ of the T. But again, the aerokit is a MUST for me as I don’t like the look without it and the roof is great to have also here in south Florida. Lastly, it also has different front and rear bumpers than almost all the ones I see for sale or in videos… and for me, it’s a MUCH better look. I think it’s called a sport design or something. So I guess the question is, are the manual transmissions selling for more money like many other brands or is it kind of the same as PDK with Porsches? And why on earth are there SO FEW equipped with the aerokit? Am I the only one who thinks it makes the car 100% as far as looks go? Anyway, something feels weird about this one but maybe it’s only because of my lack of knowledge with 911’s… thanks for any input. Feel free to slam me and tell me I bought a bastard of a car or support the spec. Either way, I appreciate any insight. Thanks guys. I’m gonna try to post some pics but don’t know how or if I can… here goes….

Hey, welcome to Rennlist! To start with, that is a gorgeous car. I don't think you need to apologize at all for it. To me, every build is a compromise of some sort - buyer preference, availability, price, etc. You bought it to enjoy, right? If you like it, that's all that really matters. And I doubt you'll have any trouble selling it in the future.
That said, my 911 is 45 years old. And I don't pay that much attention to the new cars and their specs.
The current cars are designated 992s. Although for sure some of us on the air-cooled forum have newer 911s, you'll probably get the most relevant feedback there: https://rennlist.com/forums/992-245/
Thanks man. Appreciate but that link brought me to a ‘992 for non turbo 911’s’ forum. Mine is turbo right? I was told they all are after like 2016, right? Except maybe GT2/3 etc?

Bottom line i think you are looking for a 992 forum in the water cooled section.
This section is for old air cooled cars prior to 1990 .. or as we like to call them REAL 911s

Don’t know what that means but I can’t find a section for Carrera T’s that are water cooled and turbo…. No worries, I’ll figure it out eventually I’m sure. The 992 forum CLEARLY says up top for non turbo 911’s so I’m just confused cos I thought mine was turbo (but not positive)

yours is not considered a 911 turbo.. you were in the right spot.

Yes, as Iceman said, you want to be in the 992 non-Turbo forum. You are right, technically all 911s are turbocharged now, but Porsche only applies the Turbo moniker to the top-of-the line performance models. That is why there is a 992 Turbo and Turbo S forum. Totally different animal than what you have.
Confusing, I know. Don't get me started with the use of "Turbo" to describe the top-performing Taycan.

Ah! Thank you… I see! So mine is a turbo equipment but not a turbo ‘model’ name. Got it.
So I hope I really like my non turbo turbo 998.11/2. 991/2.1 911 x 2 divided by purple, yellow car. I’ll get it the end of this week and will find out 😂

I made this comment because I couldn’t believe you would think your 911 could possibly be undesirable. Car looks fantastic and I suspect you’ll enjoy it more with each drive. Great choice!
