Agreed - if you see successful sales you'll note - extensive photos and start up/ driving videos. if you dont have access to a photographer - consider using their + service.

looks like a nice vehicle

Presentation, engagement and friendly discussion (vibes ) are key on BAT as others have noted. Good luck! There's a wide range for similar cars.

Using a black on black '85 coupe as a control --

This well presented auction sold for ~$77k (95k miles, previous theft & minor accident): https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...rera-coupe-41/

This one hit $64k with RNM (76k miles, previous accident in 2004): https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...rera-coupe-43/
I followed the link to your “control” vehicle, the black on black 1985 911, and wow, it looks exactly like my black on black 1985 911. Mine has more mileage at about 128,000, but I am the original owner with all service records, so this gives me a good reference point. These cars are, indeed , bulletproof.

I’m not looking to sell mine at this point, although sometimes I think I should because I only put about 1500 miles a year on it. But those 1500 miles are a joy. I am getting to the age where a manual transmission could become a problem, so that , or something worse, could cause me to move on.

Thanks for the link, and enjoy your hunt! Mike
