Default US-owner says "no badge"

Hello Dave,

yesterday I had the possibility to speak to a US-owner of a CE 250.000 Coupé. He bought the car as first owner directly by Paul Miller Porsche in 1987.
And he told me that there was never a badge on the glove box!

Did you ever see the US-badge?

I've seen 2 or 3 badges, but never mounted on the car, always separate. So I believe they were given to owners that way. But it also seems that not all dealers had the badges to give, so some owners never got one.

That is what I heard from many owners, also of the edition 911 SC "50 years porsche" in model year 1982.
