yeah a 2.7 l reseal might get very pricey.. dont know of anyone but have you considered dropping in a 3.0 L or had the work already been done on the 2.7 ?

with the mag engine case and heat involved in that engine the puling head studs and associated leaks are well known.

Your repair if not already done may require, time certs, and line boring to get everything squared away again. then the engine built back up . That could be very pricey.

hmmm .. i appreciate what you are trying to do , but these are recognized repairs to this engine and not doing them before the current economy could come back and bite you .

Of course the leaks could be coming from anywhere so i don't want to be all doom and gloom , but if head studs are pulled .... you better get your wallet out and find a competent machine shop that works with your builder. .

Good luck .

Good luck... since you just did a 2.7 you know how a minor effort can turn into a full job especially if the mag is not behaving and you need to do a full casework job ;-) Finished my build last year, it was a massive fat George Costanza wallet.
