Question

Speedometer repair?

My 86 911 Coupe speedometer reads consistantly about 8 miles per hour low. Is this a home repair/adjustment or a ship to the speedo shop? Car has about 57K. miles. If it needs to be sent away to be repaired can you suggest a good shop.

I don't know where you live but Politsch speedo in La Verne CA did mine (complete rebuild with 180mh face) for $175.00. Try them.
