yes i did! There were only 3 jobs that i had an aircooled specialist shop by me perform: had all new vacuum lines run & plumbed correcty (when i got the car they were all crisscrossed and one not even attached to the distributor)…i had no idea where everything was supposed to go. The shop i went to has a safari 911sc as their shop car!

i also had them check the timing, he adjusted the air/fuel properly and the axle seals and new trans fluid

All the brackets under the rockers had overspray on them, some crushed….so i replaced all with new brackets

Clayed, and did a 1-step paint correction on the car. Wetsanded some areas as well prior to correction

Picked up a hell of a score on eBay. Saw the listing was local and i was the only bidder at $500 Brand new DasSport half cage fully bolt in….sent it straight to my powder coater and went with a light gold satin finish

Had the spacers of my rennline strut bar (which came anodized red) matched to the gold of my roll bar

Trimmed the carpet to accept both the strut bar and blower motor cover

Why the strut brace? Unless you are planning to turn it into a racecar (which seems doubtful given all you've done), you may not be happy with how that affects the handling. With respect, that is the first thing you've shown us that is not essentially cosmetic or basic maintenance. As you start making functional changes, make sure that planned purpose informs function.

as far as the backdated heat….i have just a hose from the engine bay into the right heat exchanger. I’m still debating if i want to retain my ac or not bc that will dictate replumbing hoses for the right side. The condenser is in the way.

the pedal aseembly was redone by the prior owner. All knew linkages on there
oh right . i imagine its pretty tight in there. does Ac still work ?

i got it new for half the price. Wasn’t a planned modification (same with the roll cage). Neither was planned but the price was too good to pass up. Damn tough crowd here! LOL This is my first Porsche btw guys! I’m not a seasoned veteran here but keep the comments coming. Open to criticism

Feels like a night/day difference in handling even just for the street.

it kind of worked until the day it didn’t 😂

the blower seized and started smoking thru the vents. Immediately i pulled all the relays and fuses tagged to anything ac or blower. Have to figure out if i want to really keep it in there.

The NYC car community is a small world

Thanks! This car has always been the #1 goal. Still very surreal

Was able to get in contact with the prior owner, and less than 1k miles ago the engine was fully out, rebuilt, resealed, new clutch/flywheel

the brakes were completely overhauled to right before i purchased it. All new calipers, rotors & pads on all 4 corners.

Even tho the ac doesn’t work, the dents on the condenser were bothering me. Got a cheap comb tool on Amazon and worked really well in straightening the bends

The seat buckle would constantly hit the rollbar, so i got these seatbelt buckle covers from Amazon. Stitched them on and they match pretty well with my interior.

yeah Carlisle was a real disappointment this year .. rain night before was horrendous...

now im disappointed after seeing all your work that you didn't remove and repaint the transmission mount bracket.
