Took the 911 for a long drive today. Parked it for 1/2 hour and then she fired right up! Problem solved.

may as well open the old one for giggles , its garbage anyway , i love smoking guns.
dont think they can be refurbed.

The 3rd line for the accumulator must be a bleeder. I need to take a look at mine.
Keep us updated with your pressure numbers. I will need to go through my 911 diary and see what changes I made to lower my system pressure.
My car actually had a valve stem cap stuck in the hose for the fuel pump intake, so be ready for surprises anywhere. There is also a return test for the fuel distributor. I have a post about this a few years ago.

I redid all the pressure tests after the repairs and here is what I recorded.

those are valuable numbers . you now have a baseline if at any point in the future anything goes south...
