Hey Cookeville,
I'm about an hour away, in Knoxville. I just purchased a Power Friction clutch kit for my 3 liter for less than the factory Sachs, and love it. It is around $330 from Vertex auto @ 866-668-0660. They have awesome prices, and are great to do business with. They always have ads in Excellence and Panorama. Good luck.

Nathan,
Their kit includes everything needed for $330. It comes with the disc, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. They also have the factory Sachs clutch kit for $420, that also includes all the same parts, just a Sachs disc, instead of a Power Friction one.

I'm also replacing the clutch on my '80SC. I've loooked at all of the sites and their packages, etc.
What does a Sach's clutch offer over the factory one?
What about the aluminum pressure plate that is available, should it be used, what are the results?
