I need help with my 1975 911
I bought it today and it has a diffrent front on it than all the 911s I have seen. I will email picks to anyone that would know what it is. The fenders are flush with the hood and the light are square. How much are these cars worth ? I bought the 1975 targa model with 73k miles and the engine has problems also the repaint on it is very poor quality.

Errr...you seem to have a non-factory fiberglass job there. It appears that neither the front nor rear fenders are Porsche parts. The wing/tail looks suspect in the pics too. Seems like doors, targa bar (though painted when the originals are brushed stainless steel) and glass are the only original/factory parts on the exterior of your car. If it is mechanically sound, it will still be fun though. Enjoy

Not "picking" on your car, just trying to help you understand what you have:
The interior is a bit modified too. The door panels are missing the stowage boxes that go below the arm rests, and I don't remember seeing that fabric on any original cars either. The whole center console seems to be a custom fabrication. Looks like it has an aftermarket A/C installation underneath the dash...which could be nice to have if it is working well.
I am not knocking modified cars, as mine is also a bit different from the way it was delivered. I used all steel, all factory stuff (except manual aero mirrors - didn't want to deal with the wiring issues), but if you like the look of your car, no one else can say anything.
Let us know about the mechanicals, and maybe we can give you some pointers to help you enjoy the car more.

Avanger6 thank u for the help. I came accros this car at an auction and bought it bc the price was fair. I knew that it had a body kit but did not think the the rear fenders are also part of it. Car will need new fuel distributor. I will be work on the car and if I cant repair it myself it will go on ebay. I most likely will not seee a lot of intrest in this car bc the way it is modified but I should get my money back.

The fuel distributor is a pretty easy fix. If the rest of the engine is solid, it'll be fun to drive. I have never had any major issues with my 2.7. The car was sold new on Colorado, so was probably never real hot. As a non-California car, it didn't have the dreaded thermal reactors, and either always had the 11-blade fan or it was swapped early in the life of the car. My 2.7 holds tourque on all bolts except the bottom of engine one, and is still stong running. Otherwise, the cars are light and quick...plenty of fun. Keep us advised.

Avenger 6 might not be familiar with the A/C system being in Germany, but it is the "OE" Porsche system installed by dealers in America, as they were not shipped with A/C from germany. The unit was made by York and is a very robust system, except for the crappy one-lung compressor. The condenser and evaporator are very strong and durable, better than most replacement units available. further, it has lots of vents compared to the SC system of later years, although they are placed low. i put a Sanden compressor in my car and it will freeze you out of the car, though I lost a bit converting to R134. Before you say, ya, but you're in Canada, we see high 90's here and 90% plus humidity in July. Strange, but true.
Sorry to hijack your post, but I wanted you to know that your AC system is worth keeping.
