Default 1985 911 Steering wheel spacer

Hi Everyone,
I'm debating a new steering wheel to get some extra legroom but, if possible, I'd like to keep the stock steering wheel and use a spacer of some kind. Has anyone had luck finding a hub extension or spacer that works with the stock steering wheel? Thanks for the help!

CarGraphic in Germany makes an add-on spacer. No experience with it though: Carrera Hub Extension Kit

Porsche also made an extended hub version of the 4-spoke wheel. Used ones turn up on the Pelican Parts classifieds every now and then.

Klunker, I think I happen to have one with the extended hub if you are interested off my 85 or 86 not sure which car. Let me know if interested. It's dirty but been on my shelf for 20 years LOL. you can call me if you like 434-942-2916. I just moved and have a ton of parts to clear out.

Cheers, Mike
