Default Selling wheels on BAT

I have some 17 inch Speedline replicas by Keskin that I am going to sell on BAT. They have Michelin All Sport tires on them with plenty of tread, but the date codes are from 2017 and 2018. Do you think I should remove the tires before listing the wheels for sale? Or, should I sell the wheels with the tires?

The tires are 215/45ZR17 front and 255/40/ZR17 rear.

As always, thank you for your input.

It can go both ways. if tires are on you usually just layer a few pieces of cardboard top and bottom, wrap in tape, then wrap the wheel in stretch packing warp, slap a label on it and go.

with wheels only you pack them 2 to a box, cardboard between, with lots of bubble wrap.

costs will be about the same.

Probably easier to handle wheels only

I'd list them with the tires on and make sure to specify the date code. Who knows what the potential buy may want. In the listing you could specify that you are willing to have the tires removed at the buyers option. This way if someone for instance is mid project but would like some rubber on them to roll their car around until the build is finished, they could do so and not have to worry about buying tires that may time out during restoration, or if someone wants to safe on shipping weight, you could support either desire.

Tires will dramatically change shipping expense. I sold some Turbo II wheels using PCA Mart. That buyer told me about shipnerd, a cheaper way to ship BTW.

I'v done both..... It is definitely easier to ship wheels with no tires. It is also much less expensive. You are paying for size and weight.
The method of packaging is exactly as described by Spyerx.

Personally i've found that the tires are of no value. Either they are out of date, some chitty race tire or a brand I wouldn't run even if free.
I think you will find that your final selling price is the same.
