Does the lack of transistors on the wires cause static with the car's radio?

I'm in the market for wires and am surprised that Nology wires have not been mentioned. They have been recomended to me from several sources. Any comments?
Thanks in advance.

They're junk. There is NO capacitor in the wire. They have a braided outer shell much like the old factory wires had. They braid is gounded to the engine and forms a crude kind of capacitor effect. This acts as a return path for the voltage and if the braid is not terminated at the block it creates a dangerous high voltage condition. They will NOT increase horsepower. There is a great discussion of this on Magnecor's website
