The trailing edge of my hood is sitting 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch above the cowl on my RS. I am told that there is a trick where you use washers as spacers between the hood hinges and the hood, in order to lower the fit. Seems kind of counterintuitive to me - as though using washers as spacers on top of the hinges would actually raise the hood instead of lower it.
Apparantly you only use the spacers on either the fron bolts or back bolts. If any oldtimers out there know the best way to lower the hood, I'm all ears! Thanks in advance!
