Good afternoon team Rennlist,
Novice tinkerer here....again. My classic, vintage 911 SC died as I lurched away from a stop sign on Saturday. I mention the lurch because I dumped the clutch a bit. I rolled to a stop and it wont start. So, it is a gas or electric problem? Last time something like this happened, I concluded it was gas since I had fire at the coil wire. But, infarct it was a gas problem since the fuel pump relay had given up. With a new relay installed it has run like a top.
I have replaced that relay again and nothing. So, I have a new problem. I still have fire at the coil wire.
What else would you suggest as I peel back the onion and attempt to diagnose the problem?
Thank you in advance!
Mike
Important edit:. I do NOT have spark at the coil wire. I misspoke above.
So, I will check fuses and wiring next.

Thanks, but I don't believe it has a clutch lock out switch. I don't have to depress the clutch to start it if in neutral.
What else come to mind?
