Need some quick help - WGI damage
Hi all,
My friend Than spun his 84 911 in to the armco after the apex of turn five at Watkins Glen today and is looking for some assistance. The car is driveable for short distance but the front right wheel is toed in way too much as a result of the impact. Impact was the whole right side of the car with the right front taking the worst of it. Other than body panels being damaged the toe in seems to be the only problem. He is looking for a Porsche shop within one-two hours of WGI that could inspect the right front, possibly replace a bent strut or fix a tie rod and do a quick alignment to get him home (NJ area). Any suggestions for shops in the WGI area would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any help.
Keith

Join AAA Plus and have it towed home to NJ to the regular machanic or body shop. In NJ, I'd try Creative Concepts in Dover, Denville Bear in Denville, or Foreign Specialties in Manville.
